Portfolio

A curated collection of work samples that demonstrate professional skills through concrete projects.

A portfolio is a curated collection of work samples that concretely showcases a candidate's skills. It is particularly common in creative, technical and consulting roles – designers, developers, architects, copywriters, photographers, but also project managers and teachers maintain portfolios.

A good portfolio shows representative work, not as much as possible. Three to seven strong projects say more than twenty mediocre ones. Each project should briefly describe context, task, solution and outcome – ideally with information about the candidate's share within a team. Numbers, live links or before-and-after comparisons strengthen the message.

Digital portfolios are now standard. Designers use platforms like Behance or their own website, developers use GitHub or a personal blog. Clear navigation and a mobile-friendly layout matter – recruiters often skim portfolios on the move.

Lunigi uses portfolio cues in candidate profiles to surface career changers and self-taught talent whose competencies are not primarily visible through traditional credentials.
