Hiring Process

Structured sequence from job posting through application and interviews to a signed employment contract.

The hiring process covers every step from recognising a vacancy to signing the contract. Typical stages include needs analysis, job posting, CV screening, phone screen, formal interview, optional assessment centre or trial day, references, offer and contract negotiation.

Duration varies widely. In tech, six-week timelines are common, while executive roles often take two to four months. In the public sector and at larger NGOs, processes can stretch to six or twelve months because of formal requirements, works-council participation and selection rounds. Both swift responses and patience matter.

For candidates it pays to ask early about the planned steps, request a clear time frame and communicate own deadlines (for instance competing offers) transparently. Anyone running multiple processes in parallel should coordinate them actively – this strengthens the negotiating position.

Lunigi delivers curated roles continuously; a maintained profile shortens the lead time because much of the relevant information is already on file.
